About Dan

Technology Should Create Clarity, Not More Confusion.

With a background spanning customer success, sales engineering, and technical leadership across SaaS environments, Dan has spent more than 11 years helping people understand complex software and use it to achieve meaningful outcomes.

During more than a decade with TeamSupport, Dan saw firsthand that successful technology adoption rarely comes down to features alone. The real difference is whether people understand the system, trust the information inside it, and can connect the technology to a goal that matters.

That experience shaped the way Dan approaches artificial intelligence today.

At Power Up AI, he focuses on making AI practical for business owners. His work includes buyer-intent technology, lead generation, automation, AI education, data integrity, campaign strategy, and helping organizations identify where AI can create real value.

Dan is an Innovating with AI® Certified Consultant and Fractional Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer. He applies structured methodology to AI strategy, implementation, and training, helping teams adopt new technology without overwhelming the people expected to use it.

The Journey

From Helping Customers Use Software to Building Better Systems

  1. Customer Success

    Learning What Customers Actually Need

Dan began his career helping customers navigate SaaS software, solve technical problems, and get more value from the systems they had purchased.

Over time, his work evolved beyond troubleshooting. He moved into customer success leadership, sales engineering, implementation strategy, and helping clients connect technology to the outcomes they were trying to achieve.

This taught him one of the principles that still guides his work:

The best technology is not the technology with the most features. It is the technology people can confidently use to solve a real problem.

  2. Discovering AI

    Seeing a New Opportunity

Dan began studying artificial intelligence seriously in January 2025 while working a six-figure SaaS position and raising three children with his wife.

Like many business owners and professionals, he initially encountered an overwhelming landscape of tools, promises, and technical language. Instead of chasing every new platform, Dan focused on a more practical question:

How can AI solve measurable business problems without removing the human judgment that makes businesses work?

That question became the foundation for Power Up AI.

  3. Power Up AI

    Turning Knowledge Into a Business

After building Power Up AI alongside his SaaS career, Dan made the decision to leave his position in February 2026 and focus on the company full time.

Today, he helps business owners use AI and automation to identify opportunities, improve their marketing systems, strengthen their data, simplify repetitive work, and make better decisions.

The transition was not simply a career change. It was the result of Dan learning to confront the same uncertainty and fear experienced by many people who consider starting a business of their own.

How Dan Thinks About AI

AI Should Strengthen People, Not Replace Them.

Dan believes AI works best when it handles technical and repetitive work while people remain responsible for context, relationships, creativity, and judgment.

01

Clarity Before Complexity

Business owners do not need more tools competing for their attention. They need a clear understanding of the problem, the desired outcome, and the simplest system capable of connecting the two.

02

Accuracy Before Automation

Automation can only be trusted when the information behind it is accurate. Dan places strong emphasis on data integrity, clean knowledge sources, testing, and human review.

03

People Before Technology

AI should remove unnecessary friction and give people more time for strategy, creativity, customer relationships, and decisions that require genuine human understanding.

“AI can handle the technical heavy lifting. People still need to understand the reason the work matters.”

Building Power Up AI

Making Advanced Technology Practical for Business Owners

Dan founded Power Up AI to help business owners move beyond AI hype and apply the technology to clear, measurable business needs.

The company’s work centers on buyer intent, practical AI software, lead generation, marketing systems, automation, and education. Rather than starting with a particular tool, Dan begins by identifying the problem a business needs to solve and the outcome it wants to create.

This approach reflects his customer success background. It is not enough to install technology and walk away. The system must be understandable, usable, and connected to the way the business actually operates.

Through Power Up AI, Dan works to give business owners greater clarity, stronger systems, and more confidence in how they use artificial intelligence.

Practical AI. Accurate data. Systems people can actually use.

International Bestselling Author

Walking the Wire

Dan is the international bestselling author of Walking the Wire, a book about confronting the fear and uncertainty that come with starting your own business.

The book explores the internal battle many aspiring entrepreneurs face. They may have an idea, useful experience, and a real desire to build something of their own, yet fear keeps them balanced between the security they know and the opportunity they want.

For Dan, this subject is deeply personal. He built Power Up AI while maintaining a demanding SaaS career and raising a family. Eventually, he had to decide whether to remain where he felt safe or trust the work he had been building.

Walking the Wire reflects the lesson that courage does not mean eliminating fear. It means taking the next responsible step while fear is still present.

“You do not have to feel fearless before you begin. You have to decide that fear will not make the decision for you.”

Beyond the Technology

Building With Purpose

Dan’s journey is shaped by more than technology.

He is a husband, a father of three, an entrepreneur, an educator, and someone who understands what it feels like to build a business while balancing responsibilities that cannot simply be placed on hold.

That perspective influences how he works with business owners. He values honest conversations, practical expectations, responsible implementation, and systems designed to make life clearer rather than more complicated.

Whether he is explaining a new AI workflow, helping someone understand buyer intent, teaching a room of professionals, or working through a difficult implementation, Dan’s goal remains the same:

Help people move from overwhelmed to confident, from information to action, and from uncertainty to a system they can trust.
